“21世纪青年领袖计划”学生交流项目是由中国高校校友海外联谊会推荐，我校与美国西彻斯特大学合作的暑期学生交流互访学习项目。学生将在此期间赴美学习并在西彻斯特大学交流12天，培训期间不仅由专业教授进行讲授，还同时聘请政府和公司方面的专家和官员同学生进行交流和授课。现将相关事宜说明如下：
一、 时间安排：
1、报名：2008年1月9日—2008年1月17日
2、审核：2008年1月19日—1月23日
3、办理出国相关手续：2008年1月底—3月
4、赴美交流：2008年7月（为期12天）
二、 项目内容：
Activities of the Program:
1. Discussion seminars with WCU students
2. Visit local government and court house; observe court trail if the schedule permits
3. Meet government officials
4. Visit University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University or Princeton University
5. Visit
New York City (Elis Island, Liberty Island, the United Nations)
Philadelphia (the first capital of US, Liberty Bell, Independent Hall, Museum of Art-One of the most famous art museums in the world.)
Washington DC (the Capitol Hill, National Library, National Art Gallery, National Aviation Museum, the Supreme Court, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Memorial, Second World War Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, Korean Memorial, Arlington Cemetery)
Niagara Falls—the Falls and the area
6, Visit Longwood Garden, the largest private garden in the world
三、 报名须知：
1、报名对象：在校正式注册的全日制本科生（四年级学生须为保研学生）
2、报名条件：诚实守信，道德品质优良；
具备英文听说读写能力，语言表达能力强；
综合素质较高。
3、学生在报名时间内带报名表到各院系办理报名手续，各院系于1月18日（周五）到学生处办公室统一报名。
四、 费 用：
每名学生支付$2000美元
包括在美期间交通、旅游保险、住宿、课程、学费、就餐、旅游和其它。
